History PWD Fellowship Bible Study online
Aug 3, 2020, Four brothers in Christ start an online bible study in the midst pandemic namely Lance Balleza affected by Muscular Dystrophy together with Don Don Pagdagdagan affected by Cerebral Palsy and twin brothers Mark Doctama and Michael Doctama both of them affected by Muscular Dystrophy they started these for the main reason is to address spiritual needs of the fellow PWD that there is a someone to talk with especially during the lockdown because COVID-19 pandemic because striction of physical and mass gathering during that time of pandemic brother Lance take an initiative to start PWD online bible study via zoom. The main agenda of the group is to address the emotional needs of our fellow PWDs who are experiencing depression, loneliness, and sadness and to strengthen and support each in the midst of a crisis of global pandemic.
The fellowship started with praise and worship through YouTube together with the ministry of the word and after that, they had a breakout group discussion so that the attendees will share their thoughts and what they learning on that topic. Since then the PWD fellowship bible study online expand we have 38 participants and accounting from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Truly COVID-19 pandemic is not a hindrance and scenario of lockdown it is not an obstacle to stopping and sharing the Gospel of love with all affected by disability truly God make and made a way through technology.
